General terms and conditions
Article 1
This document defines the most important general terms and conditions for the sale of bus tickets in bus stations and other points of sale, as well as for the web sales. The general terms and conditions for the sale of bus tickets regulate the rights and obligations of passengers, i.e. persons that purchase bus tickets and carriers, or persons that sell bus tickets on their behalf.
Article 2
Bus tickets can be purchased at bus stations and other points of sale (agencies, retail outlets, etc.), as well as through web sales. If the passenger buys a bus ticket at the bus station, he/she pays for the station service when buying it.
Passengers with online purchased bus tickets, who have chosen the bus station as their departure point, are obligated to pay the station service fee in order to use the bus station for travel purposes.
A passenger with a return bus ticket is required to check it in at the point of sale or make an online check-in, if all technical conditions are met.
The passenger’s companion is obligated to purchase a bus platform ticket for entry into the Bus Departure Platform Zone.
The cost of station service, bus ticket checking, and bus platform ticket prices may change and are determined by special legal provisions.
Article 3
When purchasing a bus ticket, the passenger is required to review the information indicated on the bus ticket, and immediately contact the seller in case of a need for complaint. If it is an online purchase, then they are required to make contact in the manner indicated on the sales platform. Such complaints will be considered immediately, while late complaints will not be taken into account.
Article 4
When purchasing an international bus ticket, passengers are asked for their name and surname so that they're entered into the system and printed on the bus ticket. In addition to this mandatory information, the passenger can be asked for an e-mail address and a phone number as mandatory information. If the passenger agrees to provide optional information, it is considered that they have voluntarily given and ceded it for promotional purposes, i.e. possible receipt of certain promotional content, which the point of sale or the carrier can send (SMS or e-mail messages).
Article 5
The passenger may, within the validity period of the bus ticket, be extended the time of departure for the next departure, if desired, by the same carrier on the same or another day.
For such a bus ticket, the passenger is charged a monetary amount of 10% of the bus ticket price for administrative costs, and a new bus ticket is issued to them. If there is a change in the price of the bus ticket in the meantime, it is charged at the new price.
The validity period of the bus ticket/return bus ticket is determined by the departure time of the line according to the timetable for which the bus ticket was originally purchased, which should be specifically indicated on the bus ticket.
The ticket cannot be extended beyond this deadline.
Article 6
The bus station or other authorized point of sale is not obligated to return the funds of the purchased ticket to the passenger who is late for the departure of the bus, nor is it obligated to allow him/her to change the ticket, in order to buy a ticket for another departure.
Article 7
The bus station or other authorized point of sale is obligated to accept the cancellation of the ticket by the passenger, if the passenger returns the ticket at the bus station or other point of sale no later than 2 hours before departure time for travel on domestic lines or 6 hours before departure on international lines. After that time, tickets cannot be returned, except in exceptional cases for which there must be a written order by a member of the Management Board of the Company.
In the event that the passenger reports within this time period, the point of sale retains 10% of the total ticket price and the amount for the station service in the name of manipulative costs.
If the passenger departs with the return bus ticket and does not use the return part of the ticket, the ticket in that case is forfeited and cannot be refunded, except in the case of carrier error (cancellation of departure, malfunction, etc.). Only in such cases is the amount of the return part of the bus ticket refunded to the passenger (the difference between the return bus ticket price and the one-way bus ticket price).
Article 8
The passenger has the right, i.e. the bus station is obligated to return the money of the purchased ticket in the full amount, including the price of the station service and the reservation of the seat, if it is necessary due to the fault of the carrier (cancellation of departure, malfunction, etc.), roadblocks and in other unforeseen situations, which can be considered force majeure.
Article 9
The point of sale is obligated to archive all the returned bus tickets in the prescribed manner and under conditions defined by this act.
Article 10
The provisions of the Law on Road Transport of FBiH ("Official Gazette of FBiH" no: 2/10), the Law on International and Inter-Entity Road Transport of BiH ("Official Gazette of BiH" no. 1/02 and 14/03), other regulations, Rulebook on the operation of bus stations and other acts of the company will apply on everything that is not determined by these General Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales.
Article 11
Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sale shall be made in accordance with the procedure provided for its adoption.
Article 12
On the day of entry into force of the General Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sale, the General Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sale of Centrotrans-Eurolines d.d., which were adopted on 25 February 2011, as well as all other instructions regulating this area, shall cease to apply.
